Phade is a social sports picks platform where you create contests, pick games against the spread, moneyline, or totals, and compete with friends for bragging rights. Here is everything you need to get started.
Sign up with your email or a social login. Once you are in, you will land on your dashboard where you can see your contests, recent picks, and overall record.
A league is a group of friends or competitors. You can join an existing league using an invite code, browse public leagues on the Leagues page, or create your own. As the creator you set a name and an optional image. Once a league exists, any member can spin up a contest inside it — there's no separate "league admin" role.
Don't want a group? You don't need one.
Leagues are entirely optional. If you just want to track your own record against the lines, jump straight to creating a contest in the next step. You can run it solo, see your win/loss record, ROI, and analytics on your dashboard, and never invite a soul.
A contest is a time-bound competition. It can live inside a league, or it can stand alone as a public contest anyone can join. When creating one, choose which sports to include, which bet types (spread, moneyline, totals), a scoring type, date range, and optional daily pick limit.
There are two scoring types:
Head to the Make Picks page inside a contest. You will see all upcoming games for the sports your contest covers, filtered to the contest date range. Each game card shows the matchup, current lines, and odds.
Games are organized by sport, and you can filter by sport using the tabs at the top. The contest admin can disable specific games if needed.
Tap a cell on any game card to select a pick. For example, tap the home team spread to take them against the spread. In a Pick'em contest, the pick is staged immediately.
For Budget contests, making a pick works in three steps:
Once you have one or more picks staged in your pick slip, tap Submit Picks to send them to the server. After submission, your picks are locked and will be graded once the games finish.
You can remove a submitted pick before the game starts by tapping it again on the game card. This refunds your wager (in budget contests) and removes the pick.
Scores sync automatically. As games complete, your picks are graded and the contest standings update. Head to the contest page to see the leaderboard, complete with win/loss records, profit tracking (for budget contests), and streaks.
When a contest ends, the final standings are locked and the top finishers earn podium placements that roll up into the overall league standings.
